Information for Tutors
Cost
Hire charges are £30 per session which are broadly as follows:
Some slight adjustments to these times can be arranged, but Tutors will need to make sure the space is clean and tidy for the next session!
Booking
We are using the Hallmaster booking system to manage our calendar. You will need to set up an account (if you use any village halls in Dorset you may already have one!) You'll be invoiced for your sessions and will be able to pay by bank transfer.

Advertising your Courses
We will advertise your course on this site (and on our Facebook and Instagram pages if you like) just fill in this form and we'll sort it!
Accessibility
Tutors will need to make sure that their students are aware of any constraints that our lovely old building might have on their access needs. We're making improvements all the time and will keep you up to date on these.
IT
We don't yet have wi-fi but we are working on it and will keep you updated. Some mobile providers have better service than others in the area.
Tutors' Responsibilities
We expect tutors to be aware of the building Fire and Accident procedures. You may already have your own risk assessment for your business, but if not we have provided a template for you to think through and record your control measures.
DCW has an overarching Liability insurance cover (if you don't have your own) and you should satisfy yourself that this is adequate to cover your activities.
We do not currently have a Music broadcast licence so sadly this means we can't have background music. Again, we are working on sorting this out and will let you know when anything changes.
We don't have either a cleaner or caretaker, so rely on tutors to make sure that everything is left how they would wish to find it after classes. Please let Mark know if anything is broken or not working properly.
